A few weeks back, Xiaomi had launched the fourth generation of its router – Mi Router 4, and based on its official introduction, the router is also dubbed as a “fiber-level full-gigabit smart router.” And now the Chinese company has launched another fourth generation router rather quietly in China. The new router is named Router 4Q and comes in a cyan color and is presently available on Xiaomi Youpin for a price tag of 99 Yuan (Rs 1046 approx).
This makes this router one of the cheapest from the company and the Xiaomi 4Q comes with a Qualcomm QCA9561 chip, clocked at 775MHz, along with 64MB of memory. It supports 802.11n wireless protocol, 3×3 MIMO technology, has three high-gain omnidirectional antennas, and comes with a maximum bandwidth of 450Mbps.
The Xiaomi Router 4Q comes equipped with a MiNET button to support MIOT which ensures that it quickly connects Wi-Fi when using Xiaomi and Mijia smart devices. This new router is a smart networked device that can connect to a specific network without a password and just a button.

As for the Mi Router 4 that was previously launched, it features dual-band Wi-Fi and is said to features peak speeds of 1167Mbps. It comes with an MT7621A MIPS dual-core chipset, coupled with 128GB of RAM and 128GB flash memory. At the back, there is one Gigabit WAN port and two Gigabit LAN ports. The router can connect to 128 devices. It also features support for MiNET like the new Router Q4.

For security, the Mi Router 4 comes equipped with WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK encryption, wireless access control (blacklisting and whitelisting), SSID hiding, intrusion detection, DoS protection, access control manager, and SSID isolation.
